Any organisation in the world can achieve the status of an Energy Conscious Organisation
(EnCO) by meeting our requirements. The certification is granted following evaluation by
leading practitioners in energy management and behavioural aspects of saving energy.
Certification entitles the organisation to use the certified EnCO logo from the point of
application.
The application provides evidence from an independent source that the
organisation is evaluated to be energy conscious and this is then assessed annually with a
requirement to produce an energy conscious case study within 2 years.

The EnCO training course runs on a quarterly basis, involving 4 sessions over a
4 week period delivered by the world’s leading energy efficiency and
behavioural change experts.
Join the EnCO Academy
Our community of good-practice ensures you are kept up-to-date on all things
energy-efficiency including government policy, expert tips and organisations
looking for support.
Start building EnCOs
Not only can you become an EnCO Practitioner and access even more support
and resource, we also remunerate each consultant on every EnCO that they
create at 20% of the rate of each organisation.
Sustainability Professionals
You must become an EnCO Consultant as your first step – this is essential.
However once you are qualified as a Consultant there is a simple way to gain Practitioner status…
In order to receive EnCO Practitioner status an EnCO Consultant must produce a Case Study that shows how you have supported an organisation to implement behaviour change and ultimately gain EnCO Certified status.
